  5. Click on your profile and click on add property
  6. Enter a name for your live chat, link to your website, and widget name
  7. Click on next
  8. Complete the second step

#5 Install Tawk.to plugin in WordPress

So to add tawk.to the plugin to your WordPress website, follow the below steps.

  1. login to your dashboard
  2. Click on plugins>Add new
  3. Search for tawk.to
  4. Install and activate the plugin
  5. Open the plugin settings
  6. Enter your email address and password that we used while signing up in tawk.to website
  7. Select your property
  8. Save the changes

Now we have successfully added a live chat widget to our website. The next step is to edit the live chat features. You can do that very easily by going to talk.to website and select the property. Now go to settings and select chat widget. Here you can able to edit the chat widget’s style, color, chat time e.t.c.

Now we are going to check how we can able to manage and see the messages sent by our customers or website visitors.

We can manage and join the chats on your tawk.to dashboard on the website. More than that we have also tawk.to the mobile app. You can install the app here. Like you manage the chats in your dashboard, you can also able to manage them in the mobile app. Once anyone visits or chats with you through your website you will receive a notification on your phone. So you can click on that to join the chat.
